Our Work in the Arts

The Anonymous Productions Project

At Sevalanka Foundation, our core belief is that healing, education, and empowerment must reach not only the mind and body, but also the heart. In 2023, we began a unique and impactful project with Anonymous Productions, an amateur theatre company founded by seasoned director and writer Angelo Pereira, to explore the transformative power of the arts in our mission to create social change.

Anonymous Productions was born out of a vision to use theatre, music, and the performing arts as a tool for social reflection and community empowerment. Together, we have created stage productions that are more than just performances — they are platforms for advocacy, fundraisers for vital causes, and training grounds for the next generation of Sri Lankan performers.

This collaboration supports a dual purpose: to raise awareness of pressing societal issues such as child protection, women’s rights, and mental health, while directly funding community upliftment projects run by Sevalanka across the island.
