Escape

Stories of Survivors
A powerful production by Sevalanka Foundation through their theatre arm; Anonymous Productions, ESCAPE: Stories of Survivors was staged on June 4th, 2024, at the Lionel Wendt Theatre. This heart-wrenching and courageous production told the real-life stories of six survivors of child sexual abuse in Sri Lanka.

Crafted through a compelling mix of acted scenes, stylized monologues, and shadow theatre, the play was directed by Rad Ronnie and written by Angelo Pereira. It was more than just a performance—it was a platform for advocacy and healing.

The proceeds from the production went toward providing school supplies for 2,000 vulnerable children for the 2025 academic year. More importantly, ESCAPE created space for survivors to feel seen, heard, and supported, sending a clear message: You are not alone.
